What happened?
A Glittering Beacon of Festive Spirit: 9.1m Christmas Tree on Bay Hill Piazza, Timaru
Between November 2023 and January 2024, Timaru CityTown was proud to set the stage for a remarkable spectacle. Rising majestically above the city landscape, a monumental 9.1m Christmas tree was unveiled to the community.
Why did it happen?
Casting a radiant glow upon the picturesque Bay Hill Piazza, the CityTown Christmas Tree aimed to bring festive cheer and vitality to inner Timaru and complement other festive offerings such as the iconic Christmas Angels.
Adorned with brilliant lights, glistening baubles, and intricately crafted ornaments, this magnificent spectacle stood as a beacon, drawing the community together in the shared joy of the season.
